Full, Partial, and Incremental Data Processing

Optimize how external data is imported and organized within your Kyubit analytic models. In addition to traditional Full Processing, users can now schedule advanced processing strategies:

  • Partial Processing: Update specific time-frames (e.g., the last 7 or 30 days) to keep recent data accurate without reloading the entire dataset.
  • Incremental Processing: Import only newly appended data for lightning-fast daily synchronizations, drastically reducing ETL overhead and server load.

Advanced Processing Panel & Visual Progress Bar

Monitor data ingestion with unparalleled clarity. A new Processing Panel is now available directly within the Analytic Model view, right beside the Model Designer, providing detailed activity logs for every execution.

  • Real-Time Tracking: When triggering updates within the web UI, a visual progress bar (0% to 100%) displays the exact step currently being executed.
  • Performance Auditing: Easily audit performance to pinpoint exactly how much time each processing task requires.

Integrated Schedule Panel

Manage automation without losing context. The Analytic Model view now features a dedicated Schedule tab, allowing users to view, create, and manage all scheduled processing activities for that specific model instantly. There is no longer a need to navigate away to the global application scheduling section.

Optimized Grid Analysis Filters & UI Overhaul

We have delivered a significant UX overhaul to Kyubit’s most heavily utilized feature: Grid Analysis. To optimize screen real estate and maximize vertical data visibility, analysis filters are now displayed horizontally within the filter area (side-by-side rather than stacked vertically). Clicking on any filter instantly opens the filter management form, combining a cleaner aesthetic with better workspace efficiency.

Consolidated Measures UI

To streamline data exploration, the separate designated area for measures has been deprecated. All measures are now natively integrated and displayed directly within the grid view alongside their corresponding values. Interacting with measures is more intuitive than ever: simply click a measure to open its contextual menu, or drag it away to instantly remove it from the analysis.

Aligned Category Dimensions UI

The updated Grid Analysis UI introduces a perfectly aligned view for category dimensions. Attribute headers placed above the grid now dynamically match the exact width of their corresponding dimension members within the grid itself.

  • Resizing Handles: Column resizing handles are now conveniently located directly on the category dimension attribute header.
  • Quick Actions: A single click on the attribute header exposes an intuitive menu for sorting, filtering, and advanced slice-and-dice operations.

Batch SSAS Multiple Cube Creation

Managing large-scale SSAS environments with numerous OLAP cubes is now effortless. Rather than manually creating Kyubit data sources one by one, a new bulk-creation feature detects all available cubes within an SSAS database. Users can select multiple or all cubes simultaneously to generate distinct Kyubit data sources in a single, automated action.

"Group by Server" Hierarchical View for SSAS

Navigating complex BI environments is now much more intuitive. Instead of browsing a flat list of analytical assets, users can opt for the new "Group by Server" view. This allows administrators and analysts to seamlessly explore the natural infrastructure hierarchy from Server to Database down to individual SSAS Cubes.

Dynamic Change Data Source Capabilities

Streamline your deployment lifecycles and environment transitions. If you maintain multiple data environments with matching structural architectures—such as localized Test, Development, and Production instances—you can now instantly swap underlying connections. Build an expansive analysis once, then change its data source on the fly to immediately validate, audit, and compare real-time metrics across different database environments without recreating your reports.

Advanced Chart Point Interaction

Enhance how end-users interact with data visualizations. By default, hovering over a data point displays a unified tooltip showing values for all related series, making cross-series comparisons seamless. For dashboards requiring a cleaner look or dealing with dense datasets, designers can now change the "Point Interaction" setting to "Show Single Series", isolating the tooltip value to the exact series directly beneath the user's cursor.
